The first step in the process is to receive a quote from a Reliable couriers dispatcher. Our dispatchers can be reached 24 hours a day 7 days a week, online or over the phone. When you call in or complete an online quote request form, you will not be required to pay anything unless you confirm the service. The quotes given are all obligation free until they become an order you wish to proceed with. In order to get a proper quote, we require your first and last name or company name, phone number, email, dimensions of the package, how quickly you will need the package delivered, and the pickup and drop-off locations. Once your information is recorded, our dispatcher can give you an accurate quote for the cost of the service you require and will give you a quote number at that time. If you should need to call back later to complete your order, we can recall your information at any time with your quote number.
Ordering:
Proceeding with the quote you were given for your delivery service will only require a few more items. When processing your order, our dispatchers will require the following: the name and the number of the person we will be picking up from, the name and number of the person we will be dropping off, any specific instructions for pickup, transport, and delivery, and your credit card payment information. Once the dispatcher has noted the additional information and processed your payment, they will immediately dispatch one of our local delivery drivers in the area to the pickup location and email you a confirmation receipt.
Transport:
During transportation, our local couriers are careful and diligent from pick up to drop off. Our drivers and sure the quick and safe handling of your package while securely loading the item and unloading the item. Each delivery driver on staff is certified and protocol trained to handle specialized deliveries across multiple industries, including medical, legal, manufacturing, blue-collar, education, and more. The delivery drivers of Reliable couriers will follow all specific shipping and handling instructions provided by you and ensure all rules and regulations are followed. Throughout the transportation process, our couriers maintain a detailed chain of custody, including where the item was picked up, who it was picked up from, the condition of the package at pick up, the time the package was picked up, the time the package was delivered, the condition of the package at delivery (with photo upon request), and who it was delivered to (with signature upon request).
The fleet of vehicles available to our couriers is ready for use 24/7 and ranges from sedans and cargo vans to box trucks with lift gates capable of transporting up to 10,000 pounds of palletized freight. This means our fleet can accommodate any size, weight, or shape of package you need to deliver. Our vehicles are also equipped with real-time GPS tracking systems, which assist our local drivers in navigating routes and rerouting should there be any roadblocks.
Delivery:
Upon delivery, our couriers will complete all special requests, complete the chain of custody log, and inform dispatch of delivery completion. At this time, you may receive a call or email of your delivery completion with the option to review your experience with us. Should you need assistance with us again, we can recall your information by using your name, number, email, or recent quote number.
